Digital Regulations

US Law Section 230 (1996), In 1996, the US release a law which stated that the media platform is not held responsible the content on their websites and the company must regulate its own content as long as it acts in good faith meaning media such as Youtube, Instagram, Twitter are not responsible to any content that are uploaded by consumers. though they have their own regulation regarding the age restriction policy. Big media like Youtube has been around for quite a long time now, there are probably billions content since the day it got released and I believe regulation an policies have change over the year. Youtube have a very strict regulation compared to other big media. Regulations like age restriction, spams (fake news, scam, fake identities) Sensitive content (suicide video, bad words, sex) and violence ( cyberbullying , dangerous content). How take control their content by the help of consumers, they could report if the content violate any regulations that are listed, and there is some policies like copyright where it's being control by Youtube itself. There is a content that got uploaded by Logan Paul in 2017, Logan Paul is a famous content creator in the year 2016-2017, kids would love his content even though it has swear words and violence. He was the rising star in Youtube, he gain lot of attention from his content. Until one video where he uploaded in 2017. He upload a video where its shown a dead person in the middle of suicide forest, which regulate Youtube Policies
