This is the music video research and development for S4ND that I made, I've done most of the music video part and Andrew helped with the concept of the music video.

Here are some inspirations and reference to our music video:
Since our music video is post modern, which means that it is a copy of a copy, we took some inspirations from these music videos and some YouTube videos.
We were inspired to use the 1:1 ratio of the video from this video too make it look more natural and handheld, as we see this video the clips look very not staged and it seems like a direct stereotype to those group of people. We were also inspired to use diegetic sound during the montage which is an element that help to make the music video look more natural, it also allow the audience to hear and relate to the montage as the diegetic sound would bring back memories to them.
Broken Film Effect
This video also inspired us to use the broken film effect to show that our clips are old to send messages to the audiences that these are memories that happened in the long past.
